“You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” first premiered off-Broadway on March 7, 1967.
The original cast starred Gary Burghoff (Radar in M*A*S*H) as Charlie Brown. The show began as a record album with songs written by Clark Gesner based on the Peanuts characters. It ran for 1,597 performances.
On February 4, 1999, a revival opened on Broadway. The revival cast included Kristen Chenoweth (original Glinda in “Wicked”) as Sally (for which she won a Tony Award) and B.D. Wong (Law & Order: SVU) as Linus.
Narberth Community Theatre performed this show in 2006. We hope you enjoy this slideshow of highlights from those performances!
